W. Thomas Cable

W. Thomas Cable graduated from West Virginia University, magna cum laude, in 1985. While in college he was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1988 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar the same year. Mr. Cable joined the firm in 1988. He serves as the attorney for the Paulding County School District, the Paulding County Industrial Building Authority, and the Paulding County Airport Authority.

A great deal of his practice is spent representing these clients as well as other government and business entities. In addition, he also handles other types of civil litigation, including divorce and custody disputes, real estate litigation, and commercial matters. He has been the firm's Managing Partner since 2005.

Active in the Bar and community, Mr. Cable is a member and Past-President of the Paulding Bar Association, as well as having served as Past-President of the Civitan Club. He was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce in 1999 and served as Chairman of the Board in 2001-2002. Currently Mr. Cable serves on the Board of the Community Foundations of Paulding, Inc., acts as a Special Master to the Supreme Court of Georgia on lawyer discipline issues, and was appointed by the State of Georgia to serve on its Athlete Agent Regulatory Commission. He was also appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia to the Paulding Judicial Circuit Public Defender Selection Panel which was responsible for selecting Paulding County's initial Public Defender. Mr. Cable is an avid sports fan and has coached many county baseball and basketball teams. Mr. Cable and his wife Dawn reside in Paulding County.
